Does Sports Betting Actually Work?

//

Sports Betting DOES actually work but you have to know how to find the best bets. This is something that most sports bettors will NEVER know.
Sports Betting Secret #4: Bet Only the Games Where You Have The Biggest Advantage.
One of the biggest mistakes that I have seen guys make is that they bet the board. They obsessively bet every single NFL (and every other sport) game every Sunday just because they like the action. If you are doing this, please raise your dominant hand and pimp slap yourself crisply across the face.
The more games you bet the lower your chances of winning are. You will not be able to have an advantage in every game and the more games you bet, the closer your winning percentage will be to 50%. And of course, you need to win at least 52% to break even.
You will need to focus only on the games in which you know you have a significant advantage. This is the way the pros do it. They do not take the sucker bets or the games they don't know anything about.
Also, it really is very easy to bet on the games in which you have a big advantage. This is precisely why I recommend using the the sports betting system that I do. It tells you to only take very specific types of bets, the bets that have been statistically proven to win over a very long period of time.
I recommend this system because there is very little risk in taking those bets. You do not even have to think, you just have to follow the directions and make only the bets that the system tells you to make. It is so simple that I cannot believe more people don't do it.

That said, many people do successfully implement their own handicapping system. This means that they come up with their own system of finding the best games to bet on. But their goal is the same as the other system: find ONLY the games in which you have the biggest advantage, and bet ONLY on those games.
I recommend the system that I do rather than developing your own system because it has worked better than anything else I have tried and it is very easy to use. No experience, thinking, or hard work required.
It really is that simple.

How to Bet on Sports

There is a huge difference between knowing how to bet on sports and knowing how to bet on sports to win. Sports betting is extremely popular and you'll find a wide variety of sports that you can place bets on. However, the majority of sports bettors just don't take betting as seriously as they should and instead end up losing more than they will ever win. Instead of betting to win, they end up throwing away money they bet with instead of betting with the intention of winning and making a profit. To them it is just a game. Do you like losing, or do you want to take your betting seriously and put yourself on the path to success as a sports bettor?
Do you want to make the change from a casual bettor to a professional one that wins constantly? Sick of having a constant string of loses and seemingly never able to place a winning bet? The first thing you must do is learn to adjust how you approach and think of betting. You aren't betting for fun, you are betting to win. Many people think of betting on sports as nothing more than a hobby, but for me it is a business and a profitable one if done properly. This isn't a game and should not be treated like one. Treat betting like you would a business and leave your emotions at the door. This means everything you do should be to improve your chances of making profit. Ask yourself this. If you have a day job, would your boss be happy to let you sit all day in your cubicle doing nothing? Of course not! You are there to make him money and he wants you doing things that make him more money than he has to pay you. This should be how you approach betting.
The second thing you need to do is your homework. Not the kind of homework you did in school that seems almost pointless, as this homework will help you to make money. Why are you going to bet on a certain team? Is it because you like the name of the team or you think their mascot is cute or funny? These are very typical reasons casual bettors bet on teams. They do so based not on thorough research of the game, the teams involved, how they perform in varying kinds of weather, what their past performance was like etc but instead on their feelings. You need to do your homework. You'll need to spend some time studying up on the teams that are playing, their players and what their strengths and weaknesses are. This is exactly what professionals better do, and so should you if you want to start making money from betting like they do.
There are also a lot o f things to know when it comes to sports betting. I majorly place bet on football and i have gathered below some terms you would come across and their respective meanings.
Standard bet (Matches / Money Line)
This is the standard bet for almost all our sports: simply bet on the winner of the full-time
result by forecasting which team/player will win the event.
Common outcomes are: home win (1), away win (2) and if applicable draw (X).

Half Time & Intermediate Results
Just as a standard bet but you have to predict not the full-time but an intermediate result of the game:
Football - Half Time: predict the half-time result of the match.
Example for football:
Score at the end of the first half: 1 - 0
Final score (end of the second half): 1 - 1
All Half Time bets placed on the home team win (disregarding that the match ended as a draw).
Tennis - 1st Set: Bet on the player to win the first set of the match.
Snooker - First Frame: Bet on the player/team to win the first frame of the match.
Double Chance
You have the chance to bet on two possible outcomes of a game at the same time and if one of them is
the actual outcome, you win your bet:
1 o X: home team wins or the result is a draw
2 o X: away team wins or the result is a draw
1 o 2: home team or the away team wins
Double Chance betting is offered for various sports. In football it is possible to bet on both the full-time
and half-time result via Double Chance.
Example:
Full-time score: 1 - 1
All bets placed on (1 o X) and (2 o X) win - bets placed on (1 o 2) lose.
Under/Over, Odd/Even & ...
Under/Over:
Forecast whether the total number of goals/points will be over or under the given number.
Number of Goals: Forecast the total number of goals/points scored.
Odd/Even:
Predict whether the total number of goals/points scored in a match will be odd (e.g. 1, 3, 5...)
or even (e.g. 0, 2, 4...).
Examples:
Under/Over Total: 2.5 Full-time score: 2 - 1 (total score of 3 for both teams combined) All bets
on over win while all bets on under lose.
Odd/Even: Full-time score: 0 - 0 (total score of 0 for both teams combined) All bets on even win while all bets on odd lose.

Happy betting.
